One dashboard, many branches: what to standardise first
Servd Team · 7 September 2026 · 6 min read

Adding branches to one dashboard does not create consistency by itself. First define a shared item catalogue, recipe units, payment labels, refund reasons, and staff roles. Without that foundation, every comparison needs a footnote.
Centralise carefully
Lock the fields that protect reporting, while leaving room for local price, availability, tax, and opening hours. Assign one owner for catalogue changes and publish them on a predictable schedule. Give branch managers a preview so surprises do not arrive during service.
Start with a weekly scorecard covering net sales, orders, average ticket, voids, and preparation time. Investigate the story behind an outlier before turning it into a target.
